Motherhood

I’m having a great time learning how to be a mom to my very helpless little boy. Sometimes its a little frustrating, usually unpredictable, but also full of good moments. Some things that I wish didn’t happen:

  • He apparently decides he’s done eating, but as soon as I put him down and climb back into bed, he starts crying again
  • I change his diaper, only to hear a wonderful juicy fart minutes later
  • Crying with apparently no reason–luckily he doesn’t do this too often.
  • He hates diaper changes and baths

The best moments have been when he slept a four hour stretch at night (it’s only happened once), taking walks with him, and him looking at me.

Uncle William took a picture of the computer screen to make it his wall paper. Think he likes that little tiny bundle he is holding.

Love those pictures! What a little sweetie. You sound tired…it will get easier! Forthe unexplainable crying, the best thing I did was massage their lower tummy (you can feel the gas bubbles if that’s the problem) and then gently pump his legs to let out the gas. Three of my kids cried a lot in the beginning and that helped a ton! Glad he doesn’t do it too often. Sorry….I promise not to give advise all the time, that was just a life saver for me! Good luck with everything.
