With the nice weather and a free morning, I convinced my boys to go on a hike with me. We went up to the tiny waterfall above my home again. They were troopers. No complaining and parts of the hike were steep, rocky and a bit scary. To get into the waterfall cove you have to do a bit of rock climbing above a gnarly rose bush and all three of my boys listened to me closely and safely climbed across. It was awesome.

I think one of my favorite things to do in the whole world is hike with my family. But lately, due to complaining, it just hasn’t been fun. I was so happy to get one hike in that we all had fun doing.
