Christmas is a time for lots of people. Everywhere is crowded. Sometimes I like it, sometimes it’s super easy to feel lost and undervalued in a crowd. It’s stressful.
Lately, I’ve realized that there is much greater joy in serving and loving others. If we are looking outside of ourselves we will never lack: there will always be a friend to cheer, a burden to lighten.
But if we are always looking for someone to cheer us or lighten our burdens, we set ourselves up for disappointment.
