We finished one project in the yard and wanted another. Instead of doing what I wanted to do, I asked the children what they wanted and gave them a few options. They wanted a fort. So we made a fort.
We used some pallet wood to save on cost, and the kids helped paint and were around the whole time. (Joe wasn’t a fan of the pallets. And if we did it again, we might have used them. But it worked.) There’s quite a large area underneath as a sort of playhouse. And a climbing wall that the kids like to race up. And the best part is it is a launching point for the zip line.
