I saw this video, and I loved it. Having three boys is challenging: one child hates nearly everything I cook and usually announces it quite loudly. It’s frustrating: I have to deal with so much poop from all the wrong people. And playing kickball the first time was fun, but the twentieth time it gets a little old.

But…I get to build forts. We recently started building what is turning out to be quite a huge fort in the backyard, and all the kids are very excited about it. And  I get to play at parks, and hang out at the swimming pool, and laugh and have fun. It’s awesome.  I can enjoy my children’s childhood, and love that they are still small and playful.
