We went to San Diego for a nine-day vacation.

This is a stop at Valley of Fire on our way. It was beautiful. The kids preferred playing in the sand instead of hiking though.

After we drove into San Diego, we spend time at the beach. We beach hopped and hit a few different beaches including ones with hiking, seals, tide pools, lighthouses, and plenty of waves and sand.
