We went down to St George so Joe could go to a conference. We brought the kids along. It was actually Curtis’s birthday the first day. We stopped at Cove Fort for a picnic and had a very informal birthday party. He had already gotten his presents in the morning.

Growing up! He’s such a fun kid. Pretty quiet, but still full of energy.

After Cove Fort, we kept driving and briefly stopped at a park called Thunder Junction. We didn’t have long to stay, could have spent far longer at the park. It was lots of fun.

We went out for pizza and then took a hike at Pioneer Park.

The children had a lot of fun. Although, when asked, Peter said his favorite thing was watching cartoons in the hotel room.
