You’ve probably read an article or heard someone talk about how blogging, social media, etc, can make us feel bad. We see everyone’s good days, create unrealistic expectations about ourselves, fall into bad habits of comparison. Then there is also posts about “real life” with messy houses, breakdowns, trials.
I blog to celebrate the good in my life. And there’s a lot of it. I suppose I have trials, but they really just help me get off my butt and keep going in life. Recently I’ve been a little down and realized I was focusing on all the wrong things. As I took a step back and didn’t worry about the details of my life that were not what I wanted, and focused on my whole lifestyle, and the overall status of my life, I was pretty grateful and a little bit happier.
